Where to go in Portugal: Vila Praia de Âncora

It seems there is no Portuguese beach that I would not like.
Is it because of the ocean, or the endless coast?

Praia de Âncora is just another beach worth stopping by on the way to the north of Portugal. The town seemed almost completely deserted when we arrived. We found some locals in a restaurant called Ancoramar, where a Portuguese couple in their 90-ties were eating a complete meal composed of starters, main dishes and, of course, a bottle of chilled wine. We ordered fresh mussels with bell pepper salad and a huge octopus for two, polvo à lagareiro, and then we took a walk near the beach again...

Where to eat: Restaurante Ancoramar (R. Cândido dos Reis 14).
